On July 11, the Democratic Audit of Australia hosted two panels at the 2006 International Political Science Association Congress in Fukuoka, Japan. The panels compared national experiences in using democratic audit methodology. Those presenting papers included Massimo Tommasoli from International IDEA, Ozias Tungwarara, formerly of IDEA now of AfriMAP , William Cross of the Democratic Audit of Canada, Paula Clancy of the Democratic Audit of Ireland, Peter Ronald de Souza of the Democratic Audit of South Asia, Todd Landman of the Democratic Audit of the UK and Marian Sawer of the Democratic Audit of Australia. Discussants included Henry Milner, University of Montreal and Democracy and Philip Larkin of the Democratic Audit of Australia.
